Where did “to” go?

from your screenshot

I walk to school.

શાળા → શાળાએ

In the screenshot, bare શાળા is understood as the goal because it sits with “go.” In careful written Gujarati, you will usually see શાળાએ: શાળા + -એ. English puts “to” before the destination; Gujarati can mark the destination at its end.
